How it works for Event Organisers

Listing an event on Poptup is incredibly easy, and cost effective for our users, which ultimately helps you to attract more attendees.

If you are a new user, you may want to keep this tab open while you sign-up and add your first event in case you have any questions.

  1. Select the sign-up option, and once registered, navigate to your profile and click Become a Vendor.
    Alternatively, scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click on Become a Vendor.
  2. Complete all the necessary fields.
  3. After submitting your details, check your email inbox for a verification email. Click the verification link provided to activate your vendor account.
  4. Once your account has been activated, log in to your vendor account and add any further details you wish to to your profile.
  5. You're now ready to start posting events, just click Manage Event in the dashboard and follow the instructions!

    OK, let's create an event - Click Add Event

  6. In the ‘Title’ field, input the name of the event, for example 'Pre-loved Fashion Fair'
  7. In the ‘Content’ field include as much information as possible so that potential attendees know exactly why they should be interested.
  8. Add a 'Start time' and how long the event is available to attend each day, by entering the number of hours in the 'Duration' field.

    You can also add a YouTube video, Frequently Asked Questions and Answers, and of course, images of the space and the surroundings. Maximum image dimensions 4000 pixels H x 1080 pixels W.

    Now let’s move on to the location - scroll up to the blue bar and click ‘2. LOCATIONS’

  9. When adding your event's location, make sure only to add the County in the 'Location' field, for example 'Greater Manchester', and the full address in the 'Real Address' field, for example 'Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre, 40 Bury Old Rd, Manchester M8 5EL'
  10. To find and add the longitude and latitude of your location for the map, click here.

    Next step … ‘3. PRICING’

  11. You can set the listing’s default state as either ‘Always Available’ which allows users to select any dates when booking, or ‘Only Available On Specific Dates’ allowing you to set the dates the space is available.

    Once you have created your listing you will manage the availability in the Availability tab under the Manage Event section in your dashboard.
  12. Enter the individual ticket price in the 'Price' field. If you have unsold tickets and you would like to encourage clients to book quickly, you can also enter a ‘Sale Price’.
  13. You also have the option to use the ‘Tickets’ section, where you can add additional ticket options with pricing that attendees can choose from, i.e. VIP Ticket, kiosk customisation etc.
  14. Additionally, there is the ‘Extra Price’ feature, where you can include additional services with pricing that attendees can add to their experience, i.e. Exclusive Item Access, Mix and Match Box etc.

    Final step … ‘4. ATTRIBUTES’

  15. This is where you can select any attributes applicable to the listing, if there is an attribute you require that is not available, please email us at and we’ll add it for you.
